Lili's diary about zero waste..

Lili (Hungary)

Good morning,
I would like to show you our bread bag.We got it as a gift.We have just started to use it.I'm sure that many of you use something like this. Here is a photo. Have a nice day.

I share another idea with you. My mom had birthday at the weekend, we have a tradition in our family, that we use nice fabric to wrap the presents. This is very beautiful, and you do not need paper, and you can reuse the fabric many times. I have a photo of my present.

Laura's experience ...

Laura (Hungary)

Hello everyone,

Few months ago, I went to a fast food restaurant, and I was surprised.
Most of the boxes, and bottles are made of paper.
The spoon made of wood. This is a so cheerful thing, when a multi company stands out for good things. Like environment protection.
But I think they could have done this earlier...
I never understood why is it good, when people cut down the trees for making paper.
Why it is better than the plastic?
Why don't the humans find a new, environment friendly material, instead of plastic and paper?
I know this is very costly, and it needs a lot of time, but isn't it better than harmful operations?
What do you think?

Sára's ideas about the project

Sári (Hungary)

Hi everyone,

I have a recycled bag made of plastic bottles. I also say it because this bag is very useful and cheaper than a normal bag!
It's been used for years and it's still not torn!
I recommend it to you!
Bye-bye!

(And don't forget to collect garbage selectively.)

my diary about zero waste

Laura (Hungary)

Hello everyone,

On every second Wednesdays we take out the selected recyclable trash for the trash delivering. Because of that, we collect the rubbish separately.
In the past, we drank a lot of mineral water, because, the tap water was very bad. A plenty of bottles accumulated, but the recycling waste collector just came twice a year.
Now we use water filter jug, this is more environmentally conscious and wallet friendly.
We can protect the environment with clothes, too! It could be bio-cotton or whatever, I was just thinking about donating outgrown or bored clothes, not throwing them away! The situation with the toys is the as same as with the dresses. If there are many children in the family, then give them the bored or not used toys. But in my family, there aren't a lot of kids, so we donate the toys, too. Because, I think any child will be happy to get toys.
